 
I am also interested in this subject. Two years ago I started a project on hair. I wrote to every woman I knew and asked for a lock of hair and a statement about hair. It grew into an installation called "Hair Piece". It has been shown at the University of Georgia, Nexus Contemporary Art Center in Atlanta, and will be shown in November at Western Michigan University.
